very rarely do I see the .09 P/C for sale as I too would like a spare....

What I did do was search e-bay daily for a few months and only bid on "lots" for parts and dirty engines that included TD .15s and Medallion .09s .... ended up with a few nuggets to create running 09s and 15s

There are usually complete .09 engines, some new in box are high dollar and most used ones are reasonable priced

and ask Matt (exmodelengines) and Bernie (Coxinternational) to keep any eye out for you...especially Matt as he occasionally has a 09 refurbished for sale but they go pretty fast
