Anyone know if these stamped markings on a TD .049 crankcase are from a known custom engine builder?

A few of my engines have "stamps" on them.

Some related to a collectors who catalogued and marked their engines and some, as Jason is referring, have been "modified", "rebuilt", "blueprinted" ...............

What I find difficult is that a lot (in fact, the majority) of these stalwart engineers existed and were in action before the "Interweb".

The only "MME" reference I can find is

Dang you, Ian, I've been stuck on that site for an hour now. I went back to page 1 and picked interesting titles from the index. Lots of fascinating, funny and entertaining reading, as well as some good ideas. Thanks for the link. Bookmarked.
