Tee Dee / Medallion fuel tank question.
Hi,
Just saw this in ebay just now. I've seen this fuel tank mount appeared on ebay occasionally.
I never used one before , here's some questions:
1)what is the tank's capacity?
2)does it come with clunk for inverted flight?
3)other than ebay, who still selling this?
4)is this third party product or original Cox product?

Re: Tee Dee / Medallion fuel tank question.
I have the exact same red plastic tank which feeds the needle valve via a fuel line.
I hestite to use it because in combination with a TD .049 it extends the length of the assembly creating the leverage with would increase the potential for damage in the event of a crash. (Yes, they happen to the best of us)

Re: Tee Dee / Medallion fuel tank question.
To answer your questions:
1. I think the tank holds a 1/2 oz. I think that is the same capacity as the Dragonfly tank.
2. It's not clunked. there is a fuel nipple at one of the bottom corners - you have to run a line from it to the NVA on the engine.
3. I don't think they are being produced anymore, so you will have to look for NOS or used.
4. This was a Cox product.

If you want one shoot me a PM. It's yours for the cost of shipping. I have several that I will never use.

Re: Tee Dee / Medallion fuel tank question.
Actually comes out to 10cc (1/3oz) if I measured right, just a tad larger than the 8cc tank used on Black Widows/etc.VUgearhead wrote:

Good tank, but fun trying to get the proper thickness tubing to slide on to both it and the intake on the engine.
My only gripe is it has a roughly 1/8 inch narrower mounting pattern than the reed valve tanks - had to drill out additional holes on my firewall >.<
