Swap Meet Today
We had a swap meet today at Batesville Indiana and I bought this. It has a decal that says Wizard and one that says Carl Goldberg. 1+2=3, It is a Carl Goldberg Wizard. It has a Cox Golden Bee on it with a throttle ring. it cost me 33 dollars and I can't get any of the pictures to load.

Re: Swap Meet Today
It wasn't when I got it. I am wondering if it was glued open or something. It was frozen open until I ran it several times and forced it to move with pliers. It works great though. Way better than the choke tube. I am considering putting the tank and the throttle assembly on my incoming diesel to see what it can do.
P.S. Also as it runs if you don't put anything on the ring the exhaust keeps it open which is handy.

I recommend running in diesel cox engines on glow fuel as it is less stressful than them.
Yes i ran a throttle ring on my diesel pee wee and they work very well especially with a larger prop and get down to very low and reliable rpm.
Re: Swap Meet Today
I have decided to fly the Lil Wizard. Do I need a special string and handle or can I use a handle I made with proper string spacing? Also what should the string be rated at?

Best to use control line wire or dacron lines.
you can use a handle you made but COX int are selling them and Dacron lines really cheap so might as well buy them.
Re: Swap Meet Today
I was hoping to fly it today. I have some lines rated at 6 lbs. Would these work? It is double twined and oil resistant.
