Most any Cox problem may be corrected given knowledge and patience. That lacking there is a tendency to blame the Cox. Broken parts or damaged should NOT be tossed until a correct replacement is found. And I stress CORRECT.
How many of us have learned this the hard way? I'd say vertually ALL of us. Fortuneately our good vendors can come to the rescue in most cases.
Having worked with students, I can't stress enough the importance of deloping a methodology that is thoughtful rather than haphazard; not so much taking something apart but how it will be put back together. The word "phlegmatic" describes it well. Look it up.
