The NTSB will , hopefully, be able to discover the cause. Nevertheless, I happen to agree with the balance of the vid.

What vid?
I can make it simple for the NTSB. Too fast and too low to recover from a problem.
But when was a government investingation ever simple?

The link is tied to the word: I found - this interesting.
The formatting of this particular forum software does not show links either as underlined or in color, so it's hard to determine exactly where the links can be found. Rather than use the link function, I've started just adding the URL in the text.
I suppose you could add your own underline or text color as part of the formatting, but the link function should already be doing this for you.
BTW, I wholly support the theme of the video. Thanks for the link, Mud.

On some forums you can put up a few >>> <<< on each side of the word to indicate a hot link.
Easier to just copy the URL and paste that.

What more need be said?

Re: Reno Air Races - just some thoughts
I've got at least several hundred and probably over one thousand hours chasing collared animals in planes. Most flights were between 3.5 and 4.5 hours, never getting above 1000' until we returned to the airport to rejoin the traffic pattern. Most flights never got above 500'. It may just be good fortune but the worst problem I ever had doing this was an air sick spotter. You put you faith and rear end in you machine and own skill and hope it will be enough to do what you love doing safely.
Any way you look at it, the already small aviation community lost and avid member and many others on that day. I hope they are all at peace now and that the survivors are beginning to feel a little peace by now too.
In spite of how low and fast he was flying the most dangerous part of his day was the drive to the airport!

The "Afterburner" vid is spot on target!
"Live Free or Die". If I had to make a choice, guess which one I'd choose?
How about you?

Mud:
I like the "shots" fired at Michael Moore and Rachel Maddow; two "deebs" that would regulate us into that life of tedium but "safe" in all regards.
But their REAL agenda is much broader, a Socialistic America with an omnipotent government over all.
Not any America in which I'd chose to live.

Re: Reno Air Races - just some thoughts
The news this morning descibes the death of a 16 year old high school football player that died as a result of a game.
Would Michael Moore and Rachell Maddow ban high school football too?
If so, what's their REAL motivation?
