Photobucket or some such host makes it quick and dependable. That's what I resorted to. This thing never works for me. Maybe it's my browser (Opera) but I doubt it.

No... I meant a link to YOUR photos in Photobucket... That always works if you can't figure out how to post... Usually, so does clicking the image link icon above and pasting in the URL of the image... Like so

I've found that photobucket will crop up to a 1/4th off of my pictures.

OK, the 2 engines you have, is a early 80s Black Widow and a early-mid 70s Babe Bee with a hole drilled in the tank.

Thank you for posting mty pics. UR the best!!
The hole in the Baby Bee (thank you for the ID) tank was made to accomodate an auxillary (an larger) thank in the "Miss Thriftway. It's actually shown in the picture) 45 degrees off the position in which I used it. In the correct position it helps overcome the effect of centrifugal force on the engine ability to draw all the fue when running in a circle.l.
Yes the engine is corroded but not as badly as I found it. Did the gaskets, reed, and general cleanup prior to test running it. Runs fine and will do the cosmetics as time allows.
The BW is pretty much standard except for the shown exhaust deflector. One of my "favs" BTW. Note the original COX OEM spinner shown. Will make the "Toot" look even better.
The airplane is a Goldberg/Brodak "Lil Toot" bipe pre final finish. Require initally puzzling and extensive mods of the bellcrank mount. 16" span and great performer as I recall. Will be finished white & red with Brodak butyrate dope.
The Baby Bee/BW pic are a comperison othe two engines; one nice, one not so nice but promising
The Tornado 6X3 props shown are only most, but not all, of my "stash". The others are at my son's some distance away. Gray and a black 6X3 plastic TD's as well as a modern Zinger are also shown in the pic for comaprison purposes.
I'm still open to more Q's. Anyone?

Re: Pictures of the mystery Cox and my Tornado 6X3 prop stash
The Zinger has a shape close to RevUp. Much fatter further out. I think the were a thinner airfoil too.
Top Flight made wood props too. They had red painted tips.
Tornado made yellow plastic props - nylon?

You know, I am having that problem with some sites on my IPad - including this one... The image i posted above is displayed here with about the right 1/3 cut off. Do y'all see the full fuselage to the rudder???
I think it has to do with the page layout code and also the iPad. The width isn't dynamic, which is a good thing.... But the images can be resized by the bbs software in some cases to fit a defined space. That happens over on RC Groups as the image source above and the post below are the same

Re: Pictures of the mystery Cox and my Tornado 6X3 prop stash
If you can't click on the image to see it larger, right click and select "view image"
Re: Pictures of the mystery Cox and my Tornado 6X3 prop stash
If you are addressing me, there is no click on an iPad... Tap and hold on an image gives me the option to save it.
But the problem is the right third is cropped off for me and there is no way to uncrop it on this site.... And it isn't only this image on this site... I have the same problems with PDFs at times... It is an iPad issue.... There are issues, but I haven't used my 10" Dell mini since I got this thing.
Nice props Dave ... Good stash. I love wood props.

Same problem on the iPhone on mobile devices the site is croped so text is elongated and shortened but images just get cut.
Re: Pictures of the mystery Cox and my Tornado 6X3 prop stash
Well, the only way I can fix the image problem is to get rid of the sidebar with the latest topics, search, gallery preview and member ad.
