Re: Cox tee dee .010 English TV show
I tried that with my early Babe Bee, 2x4 and a 60s chromcraft swivel chair right before we got rid of the chairs. I used the Babe Bee with the hole drilled in the tank and another larger tank attached (believe me, I didn't drill the hole!) That engine ran for a good 10 or more minutes and I did catch some good (too much) RPMs on that chair. I sure wouldn't do it again but at least I know.

Next time somebody tries to tell how inefficient and under-powered small glow engines are, show 'em the video.

Cool programs too, I've been watching more than just that one. I remember it on our PBS station a long time ago here in the US, but never seen a full episode. Great to be able to catch it again!

Good point. Pusher with a 1oz tank should be fun enough... Just flip it over when you want to stop.
Re: Cox tee dee .010 English TV show
Good idea but that would apply to any engine pusher or not.microflitedude wrote:nitroairplane wrote:microflitedude wrote:nitroairplane wrote:Ive done itmicroflitedude wrote:Next time somebody tries to tell how inefficient and under-powered small glow engines are, show 'em the video.

True, but it's the only motor I have available at the moment.

I think it's a good education for those who want to work on CL aircraft.
