Whoopie! it's arrived
My Goldberg "Lil Toot" bipe just arrived from: www.miniglowplanes.com. (plug, plug)
16" span, profile fuse, laser-cut balsa, instructions, pamphlet on flying "U control", decals, formed LG, wheels, bellcrank & more. Just the right plane for a .049 Black Widow.
I'll be using Brodak dope for the red & white finish following an application of sanding sealer to remove any surface roughness.
I built my first "Toot" back in the 60's to teach our son to fly. The modern kit seems little different and a excellent buy at less than $40 incl. shipping.

Cool!, good luck on the Lil Toot.
Just went thru the learning experience with the Brodak stuff. I was brushing the butrate dope paint on and learned very quickly to have some of there reducer (slow solvent) and thinner handy. Stuff globs on with warm outside temps if you try to brush it without reducing.

Yes, I learned from experience that butyrate dope thinner/reducer is an essential when using modern buytrates. It's best purchased from the manufactuer of the dope used.

Probably similar construction to the Staggerwing I just did. I get the Lil Toot confused with a Lil Stinker... Was the LS an .020 powered bipe that Cox made?
