I want to publicly thank Mr. Bernie from Cox International for his quality of care.
Everything arrived perfectly!
In addition, he sent me a tape measure as a gift that is added to me and to the Cox International picker that he sent me on another occasion.
Thank you, a hug from Argentina, Mauricio.-

You just get customer service like that anymore!
Big companies think these "freebees" are taking away money out of their pockets.
Not knowing, they make us feel special and want our busniess again.
Thank you, Cox International and EX Model Engines!
You're doing a great job for us.

Thanks Kim and Sosam117 for leaving your comments.
Good things must be said too.
Customers sometimes complain and rarely appreciate the attention... well we'll try to rescue that!...
Kim...if you come to Argentina you have many models and spare parts to enjoy....you are invited!

Bernie is the best. I don't know what insanity moved him to acquire all that Cox inventory and go into production as the 20th Century Cox (queue music), but I am extremely grateful that he did. I am still too afraid to look at my account and see how many thousands I have spent on his website...

Re: Thank you customer service - Cox International.
I'm not a big spender, but I have ordered from both Bernie and Matt over the years. They have always come through, quick to fill orders.
Bernie made available to CEF first, an NOS original Cox .049 exhaust throttle muffler with piston and cylinder combination. This was one of the first with silicon sleeved muffler typical on the original late 1970's R/C Bee engine with cast crankcase. This was 4 years ago. I jumped on it right away, along with a .020 Tee Dee anodized machined aluminum extended tank and other items. His pricing was very favorable.
The cylinder set will allow me to upgrade my .049 Medallion to R/C with a muffled non-SPI cylinder, which should make it more powerful than the older SPI cylinder Medallion with throttle muffler. (Eliminates exhaust gas recirculation and fuel charge dilution.) With the Kamtech radial mount backplate I purchased shortly after, I will be able to mount the engine on an aircraft bulkhead directly. It ought to have more zip than my favored R/C Bee, a little powerhouse in its own right.
I have also picked up things from Matt on his Ex Model Engines website. If Bernie doesn't have it, Matt usually does, and vice versa.
If you are needing something and you don't see it on their websites, it is a good idea to ask them first. They may still have what you want, but perhaps in such small quantities not worth listing or not yet listed on their site.
They both will treat you right.

Re: Thank you customer service - Cox International.
Bernie and Matt both have done a lot to deepen my COX obsession and provide me with first class service. Back in the day they together arranged for my first buy of a TeeDee RC 050 NIB from an ebayer who otherwise did not ship internationally.
And I have just received a yellow envelope with, among others, some stock Carl Goldberg mounts for my red postage backplate reedies in a mere 10 days after I placed my order with Matt, a record shipping time across the big pond, no matter Xmas season, Covid, whatever.
Merry Christmas to all CEF friends and your families!

Re: Thank you customer service - Cox International.
I've been a fan of Burnie's for years starting back in November of 2012 when Burnie sent out the Cox Engines Quarterly newsletter.
I still have the on my computer from the 1st one to the seventh one.
Always couldn't wait to get the next one after I finished the current one.
Thanks a bunch Burnie for the quarterly newsletter and Thanks Matt for being there too.
Are the quarterly newsletters still available for everyone else to read?
They are nice to re-read once in a while.

It seems that they are.
Years ago, somehow, I got on the list for the quarterly newsletter, but I didn't know of this website (Cox Engine Forum)
I remember seeing an ad in the AMA magazine (Model Aviation) about Cox International.
Ordered some gaskets and stuff and I think I gave them my email address.
Then I started receiving the quarterly newsletter.
Now I see that I missed newsletter #8
Probably when my internet provider changed from a local provider to one of those bigger internet providers?
That is back when in my area it was dial up and you could hear the tones of getting connected?
I'll download the newsletter #8 to complete my collection of quarterly newsletters.
THANKS!
Happy New Year !!!
BAD NEWS:
I went to:
Cox Engines Quarterly #8
(click above to go to the bad link)
I tried to download the newsletter and got an error message.
Burnie, is it possible to fix the links so that we can download the newsletter and also re-read the past newsletters?
They have great information in them, and it would be great to have access to them.
I have one thru seven but never downloaded number 8.
Just an FYI ---- the old links do not work anymore, probably when you updated your site?
Thanks so much for you hard work here.
