Any recommendations for a handheld glow plug ignitor that holds good on cox glow plugs instead of a battery box with clip.

I use IKEA Ladda 2450 mAh NiMh batteries, made in Japan. They are better as like as Eneloop.

That's a good price if those are made by Panasonic/Sanyo. I'll have to remember to get some all my ancient AA Eneloop and Recyko are dead.

I was wondering the same. At teh same time, I was wondering if it was just a regular type of clip with a single AA cell battery holder attached and wired in?
