Medallion .09 Spray Bars wanted
Hi Guys,
I have a clone Frog Mosquito kit in hand. I had this one custom cut specifically for Medallion .09s.
I picked up a pair of throttled Medallion .09s. One has damaged linkage, the other has complete linkage. I didn't think it would be tough to find the CL spray bars for these guys...must be why the price was so good.
Any body have spare spray bars? At this point I'm starting to look at potentially using another brand spray bar/needle valve...including using Tee Dee front ends, although sourcing each piece for that kind of a "conversion" also bumps into parts (un)availability. Even my beautiful Enya .09 spray bar/needle valve is being looked at for viability...those are easier to find.
I would even consider having suitable replacements made if I could find a machinist with the skills.
I have been watching Cox International and EX Model Engines with no joy.
Oh, the throttle pieces are up for grabs to whomever can help get these engines running.
TIA!

I believe the Medallion .09 and .049 needle and bar are the same part.

Face Palm!
CB,
Thanks so much for enlightening me. You, Sir, are a life saver!
I did discover that the needles and springs were the same, but could not believe venturi throat diameters and spray bar hole alignments would be so closely matched (and therefore did not check against my own specimens in each size ).
I'm usually pretty good about sniffing out parts interchange. How this one escaped me, I just don't know. Especiaily given that I know where to find the very reference material that backs up your statement (<<----- Instruction Sheets to the left).
I'm off to find new spray bars...and to start looking more closely at "Big Moss."
Now that leads to my next hunt...next thread.
