I have 2 Space Bug Jr's I'm restoring and the threaded end of the crank shafts are
broken off. Anyone have any spares or junker engines they want to part with?

Are you restoring the engines or do you just want runners? I've seen the use of later bee cranks in the Space Bug style crankcase by shortening the case snout. I also remember someone on this forum welded a new stud on his crankshaft. Those crankshafts are hard to come by hence the mods.

Yep, they are hard to find. Buying a clunker will be my best bet I'm sure.
Wanting to keep them original, adding to the collection.
One is for a Bug Jr with an opaque tank that I dyed purple.
It looks cool with light coming thru but assembled I was disappointed, it looks black.
Have not heard of the Bee crank mod, may try that just to have one.
There are some threads left so thought of making a shaft extension.
I don't think I could weld an extension on but might be able to braze on.
Thanks for the input fellow addict!
