Some Cox motors
Hi guys, one year ago I started to rescue some motors tu use in the university where I work to use them as learning tools for students of Air and Space Engineer class. And I discovered that I am a collector Since those days I found some nive motors ans issues, even build some of them from spare parts.
And I learned a lot some time here and in another places like social media and youtube about how it works.
Thanks for share your knowledge!!!

Yikes, that’s a rough cylinder head on the Space Bug Jr. Shame too as it looks like a small thread head or at least a very early one.

Re: Some Cox motors
The entire engine is early Cox, I was just talking about the glow head being damaged. If it glows still then just use it until it doesn’t. It has no value being damaged as it is. Not a big deal as the rest of the engine looks in good working order.
There are numerous little nuances concerning these engines, year changes, configurations etc. Lots to learn if you are interested.

Re: Some Cox motors
Is the red Messerschmitt on the wall a free flight model with a .010 engine?
Good luck with the collection.
